Welcome to the Pocono Player Network! A new way to connect, compete, and grow through level-based pickleball play across the Pocono region.
Whether you're a seasoned player or just discovering the joy of pickleball, this network is designed to help you find matches that fit your skill level, schedule, and style—while building a stronger, more connected community.
To create level-based play options for Pocono pickleball players by organizing events that reflect each player’s ability and preferences. No more mismatched games or guesswork—just great play, great people, and great courts.
Join TeamReach: Search for and join the group PAopen
Fill Out the Survey: Visit the Pocono Players website and complete the player survey https://tinyurl.com/570Players
This helps us build a dynamic database of:
Local courts
Player levels
Willing event hosts
Nearby court access
And other useful info to make scheduling smooth and efficient
Once we have hosts, they’ll become TeamReach leaders and start scheduling level-based events across multiple Pocono courts. Each player will have their self-assessed level listed next to their name, making it easy to join events that match your game.
Hosts will post weekly events by level (or social format)
Players can join directly via the TeamReach calendar
We’ve built a respectful feedback system to keep play fair and enjoyable:
Players can anonymously submit a level reporting form
If a player receives consistent feedback, I’ll send a standardized message with constructive notes and suggestions for improvement
This isn’t about exclusion—it’s about maintaining the integrity of level-based play while supporting growth.
(see sample message sent here)
This begins as a community initiative. I’m launching it because I believe in the power of organized play to bring people together.
As a coach and instructor who travels throughout the Pocono region, I’m available for lessons and clinics to help players improve and find the right fit in their level groups. That’s where I can offer personalized support and guidance—where it’s mutually beneficial.
If the network grows and requires significant time and management, a small fee may be introduced for new members to help sustain operations. But rest assured: Anyone who joins during this launch phase will always be part of the free network.
This is about building something meaningful—and making sure it lasts.
Participation
Willing hosts and area organizers
A shared commitment to fair play, community spirit, and continuous improvement
Let’s build a network that reflects the best of pickleball: competitive, welcoming, and fun. Thanks for being part of the movement. See you on the courts!
